English - Brudtallen "Lovers' Pine"

In the early 1300s the dramatic love story of Ingrid and Botolphus took place in the deep forests of southern Östergötland. The remains from a peculiar pine tree that became the symbol of the young couple's love can still be found here, and locally the romantic legend is passed on through the generations.
