Quick band history: Long Island New York's Riot was one of the leading proponents of American heavy metal between the late 70s and mid 80s (before they morphed into a power metal unit thereafter). Despite having a handful of strong to amazing releases during this initial period, the band didn't achieve the level of fame they so deserved.
