This world, this material reality before us, is like a cave.  It's not an illusion. It's real, but it is not ultimately real.  There is something above and beyond it.  Appearance doesn't always match reality. There is more to this life than what can see with the eyes of the body.  We are strange people in the glow of a strange fire.
