#46 The story of Celina

Today, you will listen to the acne journey of Celina, an American young woman in her twenties. Her story mentions the different treatments she tried and two solutions which eventually brought results on her skin: a laser treatment called Sebacia and a specific cream. However, Celina brilliantly demonstrates that curing acne is far from just finding the matching treatment, as it also concerns mental health ! In order to reduce her stress level, she tried techniques to chase her negative thoughts and to better control her emotions. That way, her behaviour pattern changed, helping her to maintain a better mood and to feel more comfortable with others. Celina's goal was also to strengthen her mind and body connection, so she could eventually reach a state of peace with her skin.  For this, she tried meditative activities and now practise tai-chi and yoga.
