Episode 4: Internal Dialogue (You Judging You)

Act to Live - Podcast autorstwa Scott Palasik & Jaime Michise

Summary: Scott and Jaime discuss their experiences with self-judgment and how these judgements seem almost automatic in nature. Jaime and Scott then introduce the concept of Word Prisons (Kelly Wilson) and discuss the ways in which the language we use when talking with ourselves can impact the way we feel and act. Our self-judgements are often full of language that gives us limited to no options and essentially sets us up for failure. However, what if we used more flexible language and gave ourselves the space and flexibility to choose what best fits us?   ACTion Question of the Week: This week, we challenge you to take on the role of an outside observer of...yourself. Take some time to observe and write down any/all self-judgements that you find yourself thinking or saying. And, try not to judge yourself for having those judgments! On our next episode, we explore the process of filling our buckets.
