The Nazis upheld the belief in the superiority of the German race and perceived Jews as the foremost threat, which extended to Black people, homosexuals, Romani individuals, Polish civilians, Soviet soldiers, Jehovah's Witnesses, as well as persons with disabilities. This also encompassed anyone who opposed the Nazi regime.This ideology led to a campaign of racial cleansing, executed through imprisonment, sterilization, castration, and murder.Furthermore, between 1942 and 1945, a series of appalling human experiments were conducted on the prisoners held in Auschwitz and other concentration camps.
