Visual snow syndrome is a rare neurological condition in which a person sees "static" in their vision. You could compare it to looking at a tv screen that has no picture, just a black and white snow-like image. Only about  2% of the population has the illness. Doctors say depresssion, anxiety and poor sleep are common side effects.
