Sandy Edwards - Spiritual Healing in Hospitals and Clinics: Scientific Evidence that Energy Medicine Promotes Speedy Recovery and Positive Outcomes

About Sandy Edwards Despite no sign of a natural ability, I trained to be a spiritual healer with the Healing Trust - a non-religious, UK-based charity. Upon qualifying, I set up a voluntary healing group and also organised out-reach work with self-help groups for serious diseases. Some years later, I volunteered to give healing in a hospital, working alongside a consultant physician. This led to instigating the world's largest medical research trial of spiritual healing, involving 200 chronically ill patients. The trial was conducted by a top UK university known for world-class research, and paid for by the National Lottery (£205,000). I subsequently gave a presentation of the excellent results in the Houses of Parliament, London. The results of our research are relevant to everyone. Many people experience healing as a deeply relaxing method of transforming physical pain, unhelpful thoughts and negative emotions into constructive energy, which manifests as physical health, peace of mind, vitality and joy.
