[include file=get-in-itunes.html] Today we had the honor of talking to a new friend called Kit Campbell. Kate always makes fun of me for using the word called instead of named. It must be the Aussie in me. ;) We had been going back and forth with Kit for a few months trying to work out a good date and time to coordinate a show. The time change from Tasmania to California gave us some challenges so it was finally a lot of fun to connect with Kit. She had been diagnosed with Crohn's Disease 40 years ago and has an incredible story of healing from all manner of digestive diseases. As we all know the name of the game is digestion. If you are able to digest, absorb and assimilate your food properly there's a very high chance you'll be disease free most of your life. It has been said that all disease begins in the colon. Because of our less than excellent diets of processed foods, factory farmed meats and chemicals, is it no wonder we have more digestive stress now more than ever? The conversation with Kit took a strange yet great turn. We ended up talking a lot about how the mind and our thoughts change reality and how energy and emotion can literally change our digestion and life. We got into lots of fun stuff with Kit Campbell. She's the author of a book called The Irritable Brain Syndrome and has a lot of fascinating information to share regarding not only her journey of healing but also some common sense approaches to healing the gut. But no more. I had many years of medications and operations, but mostly pain and more pain. Dropped it in the middle of a acute 'attack' in 2000. I no longer suffer from 'Crohn's Disease'. This is no longer my identity. I'm not a medical doctor, nor a medical anything! My 'disease' was my training and my scars are my certificates. Now, I want to share my journey with others, to maybe help those that suffer from any gastrointestinal problems, as well as different kinds of suffering.
