After a family tragedy, Zack Snyder stepped away from the project in 2017 and it was retooled for a shorter, quippier version helmed by Avengers director Joss Whedon. After the original films box-office failure, rumors of a much longer and more serious Zack Snyder cut of the movie spread and through social media hashtags and public outcry from fans and the movie's cast, HBO Max finally re-teamed with Snyder to release Justice League in its original intended glory.   The friends are tasked with answering this question: Does Snyder's unsupervised edit reign supereme or did the suits at Warner Bros make the right call in bringing in Whedon to course correct the project?
