This video 6/8 is on Introverted iNtuition dominants, INTJ and INFJ.iNtuition is a perceiving function. Perceiving functions are the 4 ways we learn and take in information to understand the world. iNtuition does it abstractly. What I mean by that is that it isn’t focused on the specific sensory details, but that it looks for patterns and ideas to connect in order to see the larger, holistic picture. Extroverted iNtuition goes outward and is broad, Introverted iNtuition goes inward and is narrow. Narrow doesn’t mean that it’s detailed and specific, but rather that it’s focused. So instead of finding as many potential connections as possible, it looks for the most probable single connection. If you have a shotgun blast, the spread outward from the tip of the gun is like how Ne works. Going backwards from the bullets to the source is more like how Ni works. It’s also condensing - cutting the strings of many false-possibilities and refining an event or concept into one interpretation. Introverted iNtuitives are often really good at looking from different perspectives to understand the situation. The neurology of INTJs and INFJs helps them sift through different viewpoints until landing on the \"correct\" one - the one that will come true.In RPG terms, Introverted iNtution is like a slow and calculated, bow and arrow wielding hunter. I call them \"sentinels.” Gunslingers, Extroverted iNtuitives, chase many new challenges and opportunities, but sentinels slowly track one beast. They look to connect with their target and understand where it came from and where it’s going with a meta-perspective. So they're very good at finding the deeper underlying meaning of behind interactions. They’ll imagine how things will be effected in the longer term. I like to think of it as if gunslingers and sentinels were to draw and explore a map. Gunslingers would want to mark it up with possibilities and “what-ifs.” They’d also try to clear as much of the dark fog of war as possible. Sentinels would draw a time****Connect and Support Geek Psychology #geekpsychology ****FREE 8 Hero Personality Assessment: https://geekpsychology.com/ Support the Show.
