How to Deal with Difficult People

Happy, Holy Mama - Podcast autorstwa Emily Brown - Poniedziałki

We all have difficult people in our lives. Children with behavioral issues and/or diagnosis. A husband who comes home tired and grouchy. The lady at mass with the permafrown whenever your family sits too close. Extended family during the holidays who believe homeschooling is ruining your children and are not afraid to tell you, loudly. Toddlers...'nuf said. You know it’s coming, you can see it happening, but you feel helpless to stop the unwanted behavior. It feels utterly out of your control. You wish there was a better way to be with the people in your life, so you could enjoy your relationships more. There is. What you need is clarity. When you have clarity, then you know WHY you respond to the difficult people the way you do (likely with irritation and anger). When you have clarity you can see what decisions need to be made to make the situation better. Clarity helps you be decisive without fear. With clarity you support yourself as a best friend would.  And with clarity you can respond to yourself, and everyone around you, with UNconditional love, no matter how they are behaving. You do this on a typical Tuesday morning when your kiddo is melting down about their math assignment, with the toddler who is finger painting with something disgusting, AND with your mother-in-law’s less than kind opinions of your parenting at Christmas. Clarity ushers in peace. And peace provides the path for the Holy Spirit to move in your family through you. The path for unconditional love to reign in your home at Christmas AND throughout the entire year.   Make sure you listen to today's episode for more information about HOW to do this and what it can look like in your life. And then come join the Happy, Holy Mama Membership right now to have start having clarity THIS Christmas.  Join here to get started today and have the peaceful experience of your life that you've always wanted.   With love, Emily
