Today, we're discussing whether or not Professor Snape ever knew that Harry was one of Lord Voldemort's Horcuxes.A complicated wizard with only somewhat less complicated allegiances, Severus Snape is one of those characters whose true intentions we didn't learn until the very end of the series. As he lay dying in front of Harry Potter after Voldemort had cut him down, we at long last were given his version of the truth--he had been on Harry's side all along.But throughout his life, Snape's loyalties certainly did waver. He went from Lily Evan's best friend to a reverent young Death Eater, only to inevitably become a double agent whose true allegiances lay with Albus Dumbledore and The Order of the Phoenix--a role which left Snape in a rather precarious position on both sides. Many of Voldemort's Death Eaters questioned him and just about every member of The Order of the Phoenix distrusted him, with the exception of Dumbledore. But even though Dumbledore trusted Snape, the question in today's video is--did he tell Severus all that he knew?
