There is Only One Hero in the Bible : Devotional Bible Study of Psalm 140   Today’s passage looks at the behavior of David, in a situation that is pretty similar to what each of us have gone through. Yet there are some aspects that we should recognize as part of his humanity, and not necessarily something we should emulate. Instead, we should look to Jesus, how He responded, as our model. As we compare the two today, I pray this episode blesses you.   Thoughts to Journal: In the past, have you looked to the human character in the Bible as the heroes? How does your perspective shift when you realize that they aren’t the ones that are the hero? Allow yourself some time today to process that, as you start to look for God’s character and nature to be the model we chase after.
