Gen Z listeners might not get this reference, but American Gladiators in the early 90s was the original American Ninja Warrior. The show was a series of events where a couple of really fit young folks would compete through a number of obstacles to win a cash prize. The only thing standing in their way? A roster of some incredibly ripped athletes who just wanted to punish you. Some obstacles are more external like the influence of our friends or unplanned expenses, but others are internal like a short-sightedness we might have towards our money or a lack of knowledge. So we’re going to spend this episode running through some of the different obstacles that are attempting to derail you on your path to financial freedom- and specifically, what to do about them.
