Ricki Lake is a true show business OG. After getting her big break as the lead role in Hairspray, she would host her very own daytime talk show, The Ricki Lake Show, that became part of pop culture fabric of the 1990s. She also produced The Business of Being Born, which takes a critical look at how the American healthcare system approaches childbirth. However, she endured private battles that only became known by the public in recent years.
