The discussion around art of all kinds will always be a subjective one, but this argument actually takes it too far...We're back at the Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival as we dive into the film 'Images of a Nordic Drama' which is having it's international premiere today.It's the story of a an art collector who champions an unknown Norwegian artist of whom he found a cache of his paintings which hadn't been seen for years. The problem however is that the works' depictions of poverty and prostitution go against the aesthetics of the art establishment in Norway and they push back on this collector and his struggle to get this artist known harder then you'd ever expect.We had the unique pleasure of talking with director Nils Gaup about this unbelievable story that simple has to be seen to be believed.You can check out 'Images of a Nordic Drama' at the festival or online starting May 1st for 5 days as a part of the Hot Docs online package.
