News and special offers from our sponsors:
>> Rorohiko is offering 20% off their StoryParker 2.0 ($29) plug-in, a neat utility that helps you deal with cluttered pages by letting you "park" any object elsewhere (like on the pasteboard) to get it out of the way temporarily, and then "unpark" it later. To get the 20% discount, use the promo code INDESIGNSECRETS151 when you purchase it.
>> In-Tools has a number of fantastically useful InDesign plug-ins, all of which were recently updated to work with CS5.5. Harbs (the owner) has also written a bunch of InDesign scripts that are supremely useful. Be sure to visit the In-Tools page and download what looks useful.
>>UK-based Certitec, an Adobe Authorized Training Center, is giving away one free 2-day InDesign class to a lucky InDesignSecrets.com listener. Classes will be held in Cardiff or London, U.K. To enter the drawing for the free class, go to http://www.certitec.com/indesignsecrets.html and fill out the form. Quick! You only have 14 days from the date of this podcast to enter the drawing. If you don’t win, you can always register for any 2011 class at Certitec for 10% off if you mention “InDesignSecrets” when registering.

Quizzler winning answer: How many ways can you "hide" InDesign, from the keyboard?
Pat, a Mac user, says ...
- You mentioned the first way - Quit.
- Option-click on the desktop will hide InDesign and you leave the program but not quit it.
- Force Quit - Option+Command+esc
- Command+H - will hide InDesign. Which surprised me the first time it happened because Command+H used to Hide Frame Edges.
- Menu Bar> InDesign> Hide InDesign (does that one count because it's basically the same as #4)
- Use the dock to hide InDesign
- Use the dock to quit InDesign (does that one count because it's basically the same as #6)
- Command+Tab highlight InDesign Icon in application switcher and Command+Q
- Command+Tab highlight InDesign icon in application swticher and then Command+H
