Charles Lenchner, co-founder of People for Bernie: In Cleveland, a race to fill a vacant congressional seat has brought on a showdown between the progressive and pro-corporate wings of the Democratic Party. Voters are heading to the polls today to choose between former Ohio State Senator Nina Turner, a close ally of Bernie Sanders and Cuyahoga County Councilperson Shontel Brown who is backed by senior leadership of the Congressional Black Caucus and a whole lot of outside Super PAC money.
