More about today’s guests: Matteo Vaccari: Growing up between Florence and the Chianti Classico area, Matteo was always fascinated by the world of wine. After finishing high school, he decided to make his passion his job. He went on to receive his degree in Viticulture and Enology and Agronomy, and then developed his skillset internationally, working in California and Oregon for Domaine de la Côte and Evening Land. Abroad is where he met Maddalena - his current wine partner in crime at Cigliano di Sopra. Maddalena Fucile Mother nature has always fascinated Maddalena since she was a child. While she at first wanted to be a vet, she suddenly found herself falling in love with viticulture and winemaking. She began Cigliano di Sopra in 2016 with Matteo, with the ambition to express terroir to the best of their abilities.
