She studied at the Catholic University of Milan, and continued her education in Lugano, Lausanne and London, where she focused on business strategies and marketing. For the past 10 years, Marzia has worked alongside her father Cosimo, head of Varvaglione 1921. She was the first of the fourth generation to enter the family business, but was soon joined by her brother Angelo and sister Francesca. As Business Developer and Director of Marketing and Sales, Marzia seeks to create added value. She has continued to deepen her understanding of the wine world, achieving the WSET Level 3 Award. She is currently the President of AGIVI, the association of young Italian wine entrepreneurs.
