B”H You’re listening to Jewish Money Matters, I’m Yael Trusch your host, welcome to the show! Back in the regular schedule around here, well adjusting for the fact that I kicked off this week with my 10 week coaching program G-d Wants You To Be Rich and my wonderful students and loved every minute of it. If you missed it this year and want to sign up for the wait list for next time the program opens its doors, you can do so at yaeltrusch.com/rich. Alright let’s talk about today’s episode. I love today’s episode and I think you will too. I have Karen McCall with us today in a special bonus session that she did last year for a group of my students. Karen is such a special woman and it’s an honor for me to share our conversation with all of you today. Karen is  the Author of Financial Recovery – Developing a Healthy Relationship with Money – a book I highly recommend. She’s also the Founder of the Financial Recovery Institute. Her career in personal finance started in 1988 when she desperately knew she needed a money coach and couldn’t find one. She is definitely one of the pioneers, in America, in the work of personal finance for women, and personal finance from a more holistic perspective. Definitely a pioneer. Based on her decades of experience with women and couples, Karen has developed her own money management software, Money Grit, so that we can be grounded in the numbers at the same time as we explore the emotional side of money. I have yet to see another software like it in the market. Karen and I talk about the financial struggles that led her to build a career in the personal finance space, the emotional side of money, Money Grit and much more. You will want to listen carefully especially at Karen’s examples, as you might find that you can identify with some of what she’s sharing. Here’s the lovely Karen McCall. You can learn more and sign up for Money Grit at moneygrit.com.
