Emily Guy Birken is a Plutus Award-winning freelance writer who specializes in the scientific research behind irrational money behaviors. She makes complex financial topics relatable and easily understood by the layperson. She is the author of five books, including The 5 Years Before You Retire, End Financial Stress Now, and the brand new book Stacked: Your Super Serious Guide to Modern Money Management, which we talk about today. As you just heard, Joe and Emily have both been authorities in the personal finance space for many years, and so I asked them what was missing in the conversation, what needed to be said, that hadn’t been said before?
