For the first time in the Learn Jazz Standards podcast history, I am re-recording an episode. This episode.
This is not the original version of the episode that I had planned and there's a few reasons for that, I'll go over a little bit later. But I wanted to be sure to make this episode special.
And I wanted to do it the right way to conclude "Jazz Blues Month!" here on the podcast, so I'm going to dive in today on the secret sauce for mastering a jazz blues.
This is really what it comes down for me, not just for the jazz blues, but with all the stuff that I do for becoming a better jazz musician. But it's really going to tie together for jazz blues and we are going to close this thing up right.
