Speaker(s): Professor Patricia Clavin | Starring the League of Nations, and featuring the students, staff, and archives of the London School of Economics and Political Science, the lecture recovers the entangled history of LSE with the practices of global governance. She is a Fellow of the British Academy and the Royal Historical Society, and a Foreign Member of the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters. In 2015, Patricia was awarded the British Academy Medal, which recognises a ‘landmark achievement that has transformed understanding’ for her book Securing the World Economy: The Reinvention of the League of Nations, 1920-1946.
