Do go back to our Golden Globe Nomination Reactions episode as well, where we gave you our initial thoughts on the nominees. On this show, we focus on three central questions facing all of the major film categories. First, where’s our rooting interest as fans? Second, what win will impact the Oscar Race most? And third, who do we pick to win? The episode features the Vegas betting odds for most of the nominees, including a Mike 1 “how to gamble” preamble (which might be the pinnacle of my show note writing life, having now put those two words in the same sentence). So you’ll get a unique look at the slate of nominees by factoring in those betting odds. Then as MMO usually does, we also pepper in some historical stats from the last 10 years regarding what a Globe win could mean for that Oscar Race.
