Some of it does in fact work fairly well. Mr. Zombie demonstrates quite a visual talent for the aesthetic of the franchise, and yet, the storytelling and the gratuitous murder realism seems to turn audience members against him. This will become even more apparent in his sequel. But we do have many moments of praise for Zombie’s work (quite to our surprise really), and we can give his films credit where they are due. However, we cannot resist the need to rewrite some of the missteps of the sequel and dive headlong into some what-ifs on the plotline. So even if you dislike these films, there’s plenty of new MMO material to enjoy here. You may have to listen to us exercise some demons en route to these epiphanies, but it’s all there. Plus, Mike 1 freaks Also Mike the hell out for at least MOST of this episode, which if it’s not funny, at least it should entertain you all to listen to the fainter heart of our duo audibly squirm his way through this recording.
