We explain this strange way to count up to Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and then fail to count properly ourselves in the next segment. But what we lack in kindergarten math skills, we hopefully redeem with our readings on this film, which many consider to be quite the puzzler. The non-spoiler first half sets the stage by going behind the scenes, by analyzing the numbers, the cinematography, soundtrack, performances, and the homages to other movies in the script. Then we break down that plot, all our bests & worsts, Tarantino’s writing habits, the easter eggs, and connections to the Tarantino-verse in our spoiler section. It’s another massive movie review for one more Quentin re-watch before we see his new film.
