Nick is joined by broadcaster Rishi Persad to consider the latest headlines from around the world of horseracing. They lead with a difficult day for John and Thady Gosden's Clarehaven stable, with the news of a positive test for banned substance ketamine, found to be a contaminant from a user among the stable staff. Gosden's star Mishriff was then ruled out of the Breeders' Cup. Nick and Rishi also discuss Charlie Appleby's six contenders for Del Mar, revealed to Nick last night, plus look ahead to the Vertem Futurity with trainer Roger Varian, whose Bayside Boy is a key player. Varian also brings news of star fillies Eshaada and BC bound Teona.
