Roqy Tyraid is a hip hop musician from Phoenix, Arizona. Though normally traveling abroad orknee-deep in lengthy recording sessions, he has recently found himself in the middle of ahistoric grassroots movement based in his own backyard.  Tyraid is a founding member of thebreak-out organization The We Rising Project, whose goals are to utilize community action in apush towards legislative change and the unseating of systemic racism in the state of Arizona.
