Dina is an Iranian refugee who's had contrasting experiences of living abroad. She discusses the way in which she has been both brutalised and embraced in her adopted countries along with her experience of racism in the UK. Dina was born in Iran during a time of revolution. As a result, she had “a tumultuous childhood”. However, life outside of Iran would also prove to be challenging.
