October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Why is it so important to speak about it? About 1 in 8 U.S. women (about 12%) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime. In 2020, an estimated 276,480 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in women in the U.S. alone, along with 48,530 new cases of non-invasive (in situ) breast cancer. Good news though: the better you are informed and the earlier you identify changes, the better the treatment. Today's guest is Tanja Thompson, a 2X Breast Cancer Survivor, 100% Service Disabled Veteran, Transformational Speaker and Transitional Coach & Consultant.
