Joining Jamie this week for a Proper Full-On Gay Crisis are Bryony and Michelle from LGBT Youth Scotland.   We talk about our favourite Teacher moments including Mr Ajayi, Coach Singh and Ms. Greenwood and take inspiration from what happens in the show to talk about the work that LGBT Youth Scotland does to support teachers and improve the lives of queer youth across Scotland.   We talk about Section 28 which banned the promotion of homosexuality in UK schools during the 80's, 90's and 00's and also about the new "Don't Say Gay" legislation taking hold in some US States. About Heartstopper: Heartstopper is a British coming-of-age romantic comedy television   series on Netflix, adapted from the webcomic and graphic novel of the   same name by Alice Oseman. Written by Oseman herself, the series   primarily tells the story of Charlie Spring (Joe Locke), a gay  schoolboy  who falls in love with classmate Nick Nelson (Kit Connor),  whom he sits  next to in his new form.
