CREDO - Sr Carino - Spiritual Motherhood

In this final talk we apply everything we have learnt about the motherhood of the Church and the motherhood of Mary to the spiritual motherhood of consecrated women. We also think about how it can be applied to the lives of all the faithful. Why are nuns and sisters described as 'spiritual mothers'? Where can we find this idea in Scripture and Tradition, and how is it different from natural motherhood? Sr Carino will be exploring spiritual motherhood as we find it in the life of the Church, the life of Our Lady, and finally in the lives of consecrated women to find out what role spiritual motherhood plays in the living-out and the sharing of our Catholic faith.
