The Importance of the MomentSeason 2Episode 29 You likely are just like everyone else in planning to do something different tomorrow. Neville Goddard teaches us that now, in the present moment is the precise time when we should be making changes. In every moment you are faced with a choice, what do you want and what you are currently. What are you choosing every day, and in ever moment? This episode concludes this mini-series on his essay “The Coin of Heaven” from his book Awakened Imagination. You can purchase a copy of The Power of Awareness, which includes his book Awakened Imagination and the “Coin of Heaven,” here: https://amzn.to/3WtLVwc 2:23 - The emotional, vibrational state of our lives is revealed by our inner talking. If we want to have a different result in our life we need to change the vibration and energy we live with. 4:10 - What each of us really wants is freedom to express who we are without judgement or criticism and live our lives in an expansive way. 6:45 - “You must stop spending your thoughts, time and money. Everything in life must be an investment.” This is about the importance of the moment. 7:45 - “At any moment of our lives we are faced with an infinite choice: what we are and what we want to be, and what we want to be is already existent. But to realize it, we must match our inner speech and actions with it.” 8:59 - Stop preparing and planning to change tomorrow. Stop regretting what has passed yesterday. “It is only what is done now that counts.” 11:25 - Whenever you realize you have been thinking in the wrong direction or have not been in control of your mind you can reaffirm your image of what you want, the feeling of the wish fulfilled, and you are back on the right path. 12:29 - We spend so much time locked up in the past and allow our attention to bring the past into our present and begin creating from that energy. 14:18 - We cannot abandon the moment to negative inner talking and expect to retain command of life. 17:58 - We need to be careful of the things and thoughts we are consuming in our mind. 21:56 - There is only what you do in this moment. Are you going to move closer to your goal or further away from it. 23:28 - We have the power to decide and choose what we are going to do with any present moment. If you make a bad choice, the next moment brings a new choice with which you can affirm what you want to be or stay as you are. 26:20 - Some of you will remain skeptical that all the work retraining your inner speech won’t change the results in your life. Inner speech is always manifesting by law. You just have not learned how to weld this power with intention. 28:35 - “Whenever inner speech and desire are in conflict, inner speech invariably wins.” 32:07 - One of my last conversations with Bob Proctor was him asking me what advice I had for someone starting their journey. It was that you are not the voice in your head that says you are not good enough is not who you are. 33:40 - The present moment is precisely right for an investment in your goals and dreams. Take this moment right now and decide that the next moment that comes is also going to be an investment in your future. — If this episode inspired you or resonated in some way, don’t forget to subscribe to never miss an episode.
