Can I go into a Mormon Temple??

The answer is YES! And no… here’s the scoop. Whenever a temple is built in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as the Mormon Church), there is a period of time that the temple is open to the public.    However, a few months after the temple is finished, the temple undergoes a "dedication" in which the temple is dedicated to God and can no longer be open to the public. The dedication is broadcasted throughout the temple's region has the simple format of a prayer, song, a few talks, and a dedicatory prayer.
