Did the Original Church FALL APART?!

If you've talked to missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as the Mormon Church or LDS Church), you've probably heard the word "apostasy." But what does that mean? And why does the Church place so much emphasis on it?    Members of the Church believe that when Christ established his Church on the earth, all of the authority necessary for baptizing and governing the Church were on the earth (through Jesus Christ). However, with the death of Jesus Christ and the apostles, the authority was slowly being corrupted and finally led to the Great Apostasy, meaning that the fullness of the authority of God was no longer on the earth. There would need to be a restoration in the future.    (If you're curious about the following away and where it was evident in the Bible: In the New Testament, Paul spends a lot of time “answering questions, correcting errors in doctrine, and trying to persuade people to change how they are running the Church.” This is because the Church is going astray from the doctrine of Christ. In Revelation 2:2-5, Christ speaks through John to the Church about their falling away and warns that if they don’t repent, he will “remove thy candlestick out of his place.” ) Don't forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/saintsunscripted
