Our thoughts about early returned missionaries | ft. Cameron Condie

Today we got to chat with Cameron! Cameron served a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as the Mormon Church) and had a fabulous time. However, during his time with a particular companion, he learned an extremely valuable lesson. Cameron loved his companion and said he was one of the most dedicated missionaries he ever knew. He began to experience health issues and was unable to dedicate himself, despite having a strong desire to do so. The thought of going home early is incredible difficult for most missionaries so there was certainly fear in the thought of going home. But there came a point when the best option was to go home. Cameron quickly wrote a letter to the parents of this missionary and his letter went viral. To this day, he claims that he didn’t write the letter but that it was guided by God.
