Responding to 1960’s Mormon Document!

In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, there is a pamphlet for young adults called “For the Strength of Youth” which essentially contains guidelines for how to behave in public as a young adult. The pamphlet has been changed a number of times since the 1960’s (when it was first released). The revisions have been necessary, as you can tell from this video. Today we respond to the original version of the pamphlet and WOW!! There are so many cringe worthy paragraphs, we just couldn’t stop reading! The pamphlet was clearly written in a more patriarchal era so you’ll notice lots of advice for young women— some of which is just too hilarious today!
