This week I am chatting to Susannah in Hampshire, England, who turned sober 9 months on the day of recording. After some traumatic events during her 20's and early 30's, Susannah's drinking slowly increased from weekend fun drinking to wine after the kids had gone to sleep. This gradual increase meant that moderation was always a big focus and feeling lethargic and below average every day became the norm. Susannah found her way into sobriety via local AA meetings and listening to podcasts. She is thoroughly open and honest, and has a story of strength following loss and trauma that will be inspiring to many.
