Dear Steve and Shirley, I’m an elementary school teacher with a big problem. I graduated from college two years ago and it’s my first year teaching. At my school, there’s a very beautiful young black teacher that I have a crush on, but she’s married, so I would never say anything out of the way to her. When I first got to the school, an older white teacher in my cluster was very rude and would never speak to me, unless we were alone in the hallway or in the parking lot.
