Successful police career, retired, knock backs, lacking confidence to dream job!  If you're retired or close to it and you're feeling a little bit lost and not sure how to go about moving on, or what opportunities are out there for you, then this will really help I promise.  This week's episode is with a former student/alumni of The Blue Light Achievers Programme, Brain Faint.  Brian is a retired Police officer and former career detective, including the National Crime Squad and SOCA and he had an amazing career. He left the job for another great role but ended up being micro-managed after a change of leadership and it got to the the point where he was applying for loads of jobs but was getting knock-back after knock-back which completely knocked his confidence.  Brian made the decision to join the Blue Light Achievers programme and as a result of putting into practice everything we cover within the programme, the interviews started coming through thick and fast, as did the job offers. Since leaving the job, Brian's worked short term contracts and in consulting and he's now in his dream role in an incredible location which I'll let him reveal to you in the episode.  If you're interested in finding out more about the Blue Light Achievers programme, click HERE  You can listen to the podcast on shift, walking the dog, pottering about and do it on your phone, desktop, laptop or tablet, anywhere and whenever suits you, pause and play and they're all completely free!  You can now even ask Alexa to 'Play Blue Light Leavers Podcast' and up it pops!  Don't forget you can join our Private Facebook group at : www.facebook.com/groups/bluelightleavers  You can also visit the website and blog on www.bluelightleavers.com and download my free NEW and UPDATED guide to LinkedIn for Police Officers for 2021!  If you like what you've heard, please subscribe, hit 5* and leave a review and share and come and join us in our Private Facebook Group.
