You're overthinking things One of the ways you might be making things too hard on yourself is by overthinking things. When you overthink a situation, you tend to complicate it and make it more difficult than it needs to be. Instead of overthinking, try to take a step back and look at the situation objectively. This will help you to simplify things and make them easier to handle. 2. You're trying to do too much Another way you might be making things too hard on yourself is by trying to do too much. When you try to take on more than you can handle, you end up feeling overwhelmed and stressed out. Instead of trying to do everything, focus on doing one thing at a time and taking things one step at a time.
