Metz' film serves up two remarkable performances, in Sverrir Gudnason's Bjorn Borg and Shia LaBeouf's John McEnroe, with a nary a fault between them. As well as stellar supporting performances from Skarsgård and Tuva Novotny. A story of passion, rage, respect and redemption, Metz has managed to craft arguably the first great film about the sport.
