The one where we review Dune and Night Teeth

Hello and thank you for downloading another episode of The Flixters Podcast! It’s been a busy past few weeks for The Flixters folks. We’ve had to deal with killer symbiotes, masked killers and the odd spy or two. But this week we turn our attention to space. From visionary director Denis Villeneuve (Arrival, Blade Runner 2049) comes the eagerly awaited film adaptation of Frank Herbert’s seminal novel Dune. The term ‘space opera’ gets banded around quite a bit but this one definitely has an epic feel to it. Check out the review! As we get closer to Halloween we thought we’d try a Netflix offering in the form of Night Teeth Starring Jorge Lendeborg Jr (Spider-Man: Far From Home). He plays ‘Benny’, who takes on a nighttime driving job for his brother Jay (Raúl Castillo). Benny’s job for the evening, driving two young friends around L.A. turns south pretty quickly when Benny realises his two passengers are blood-sucking vampires hellbent on causing mayhem.
