We don’t know the names of those who hand in their letters to the chair of the 1922 committee, calling for a vote.Some of those who publicly support a Prime Minister could be privately plotting against them. Meanwhile, negotiations take place in quiet offices. Deals are made. Promises, too. And sometimes not just by the person in charge.
