The Ray & Dregs Hockey Podcast - Podcast autorstwa R.E.V. Media

Darren and Ray span the globe to make Episode 13 happen, with Ray in Ostrava in the Czech Republic ahead of the start of the IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship. The guys start off chatting about Ray getting to see his son Landon play hockey, and score, in Berlin and the incredible atmosphere around that game. Then they hit on a number of the week's top headlines: the feel-good story that was Leafs' back-up goalie Michael Hutchinson winning a game, while Sheldon Keefe had Nylander and Kapanen riding the bench a lot against the Wings; Nikita Kucherov was also missing shifts for Tampa in the 3rd, with Jon Cooper choosing to tinker with his line-up to try and find some success with that loaded roster; whether the two power houses in the East and West, Washington and St. Louis,  have any apparent weaknesses; Lias Andersson of the Rangers formally requesting a trade, and what the Rangers will do with the Chris Kreider sweepstakes expected to heat-up in January, and whether the Bruins might be a good fit for Kreider. TSN's award winning play-by-play announcer Gord Miller joined Ray in Ostrava for an interview 'under protest' sharing Ray's earbuds and a headset mic. Gord ran down some of Ray's top travel tales, and shared some excellent stories of covering international hockey for almost three decades for TSN. In this week's edition of #ThroatPunch Ray nominates himself for missing his flight to the Czech Republic and throwing his overseas travel into chaos. Darren has a double nomination out of Saturday night's Leafs - Wings game: Firstly, the Leafs' Jake Muzzin for his dangerous takedown of the Wings' Anthony Mantha; and secondly Detroit's Andreas Athanasiou almost going knee-on-knee with the Leafs' Alex Kerfoot after kicking his leg out. 'Ask Ray & Dregs' sees questions on Ray's memories of some of his Finnish teammates,  and who the best athlete playing in the NHL today is.
