On Episode 115 of the RETROZEST podcast, Curtis celebrates the 35th Anniversary of the great TV series STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION! Beginning on September 28, 1987, and running for seven seasons, this program aired in first-run syndication. Created by Gene Roddenberry and set in the latter third of the 24th century, when Earth is part of the United Federation of Planets, it follows the adventures of a Federation starship, the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-D), in its exploration of the Alpha quadrant in the Milky Way galaxy. The show stars Patrick Stewart, Jonathan Frakes, LeVar Burton, Denise Crosby, Gates McFadden, Wil Wheaton, Marina Sirtis, Brent Spinder, and Michael Dorn. Returning to this episode to assist is John Wentworth, former CBS/Paramount TV Exec who began at Paramount TV in 1983. John was heavily involved with the promotion and production of TNG throughout its run; so he has some great behind-the-scenes stories!
