S4 E12: Your Place or Mine

Your Place Or Mine is a 2023 romantic comedy directed by Aline Brosh McKenna… This is the story of Debbie and Peter played by Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher. Debbie is a single mom to her son Jack. They live in LA, she’s an accountant at a middle school, very tightly wound, very much your typical helicopter over bearing parent to Jack. Then we have Peter who is a successful business consultant in New York City, lives the bachelor life, never REALLY committing to anyone or anything. Debbie and Peter have history, they hooked up this one time BUT ever since have just been best of friends, even when they both live across the country from each other. Our story takes a turn when Debbie is SUPPOSED to travel to New York City to hang with Peter and complete her schooling, her baby sitter falls through. To make sure she can finish the education she needs, PETER swaps places, flies back to LA to babysit Jack.  Along the way while they are apart we learn a little about a rekindled love on both sides.
