Yes, you will (did) work hard to get your MD, but others have doctorates, too. Lighten up. PhDs, DNPs, AUDs and many more also have doctorates. Instead of worry about who worked harder or longer to get it, better perhaps to support each other and not worry about who deserves to call themselves a doctor.
